Trail Tales w/ GBCA and Wild Montana

  • GoodWorks Place 129 W Alder St Missoula, MT 59808 (map)

Join the Great Burn Conservation Alliance and Wild Montana for Trail Tales, an evening of wild storytelling. The First Friday of March (March 7th) we will gather at Goodworks Ventures in downtown Missoula to share our favorite adventure stories on public lands. From 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. We’ll talk about the Great Burn as well as other beloved Montana landscapes, and hope that you’ll come out to share some of your own tales. The theme of this storytelling event is “keep it wild”. If you have a story to share about a regional wild place and why it should stay that way, we would love to hear from you!

Whether you are interested in storytelling yourself or would like to come listen, please register below. Those who sign up for storytelling ahead of time will have priority on the night of the event. We estimate 5-minute length stories from participants, but may change that time parameter depending on registration. Stories will be recorded by Wild Montana staff unless the storyteller says otherwise, so your tale can continue to help advocate for public lands protection. Whether your story is from the Great Burn recommended wilderness, the Bob Marshall, Selway-Bitterroot, or somewhere else in the region - we hope to see you there!
